2012 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen 2.0L TDI

Vehicle Description:

Brown over beige leatherette 2012 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen TDI with 100,698 miles, a diesel wagon with a DSG automatic, and that is the combination people hunt for and rarely find. IT IS A WAGON, WHICH IS THE WHOLE IDEA: Golf underneath, wagon on top, so it drives like a small car, parks like a small car, and then opens a long flat cargo hold behind the rear seat that a crossover twice its thirst cannot match. WHAT IT CARRIES: leatherette seating, a Pioneer touchscreen head unit wired to a backup camera that puts the view right on the screen, air conditioning, power windows, power locks and power mirrors, cruise control, tilt and telescoping steering, a center console armrest, roof rails overhead, factory alloy wheels underneath, and a split folding rear seat. ENGINE: Volkswagen 2.0 liter turbocharged TDI diesel rated at 140 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, and the torque is the point, because a TDI pulls from just off idle and holds a hill on the freeway without ever changing its mind about what gear it wants. Volkswagen rated this one at up to 42 on the highway and TDI owners routinely beat the sticker. THE SIX SPEED DSG: two clutches instead of a torque converter, so it shifts faster than a person can and never hunts. Leave it in D and forget it, and it still behaves like a manual that shifts itself. SAFETY: four wheel antilock brakes, traction and stability control, driver and passenger airbags, side airbags, side head curtain airbags, and vehicle anti-theft. COLOR AND MILES: brown over beige leatherette with 100,698 miles. CARFAX AND SERVICE RECORDS: CARFAX reports a personal vehicle, last owned right here in Oregon, with 15 service history records on the report.
